We Are Hogar Hispano!
Founded in 2004, Hogar Hispano Incorporated (HHI) is a 501(c)(3) corporation that works in partnership with other community-based organizations to provide housing, community stabilization, and wealth generation and preservation for low-to-moderate-income individuals and families of color.
HHI works to eliminate barriers to housing opportunities, enhance access to capital, stimulate economic growth, and create sustainable business and community development opportunities for Black and Latino communities.
Continuously acquiring and developing real estate projects throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, HHI works to create affordable housing opportunities for income qualified families/individuals and provide services to help individuals and families facing the devastation of foreclosure retain ownership of their homes.
HHI operates on a national platform with projects concentrated in underserved communities hit hard by the economic crisis, disinvestment, redlining and natural disasters in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Puerto Rico and Texas.
The HHI team works tirelessly to eradicate homeownership barriers and enhance access to economic solvency for individuals and families in Black and Latino communities, both of whom have been underserved—and often unserved—by the mainstream financial system.
To create opportunities for low-to-moderate-income families of color to achieve economic self-sufficiency by initiating and supporting efforts that result in affordable housing, homeownership, community resources, and business development with the support of national, state, and local partnerships.
